Sitting in a coffee shop on some ridiculously over-priced wireless, so I'm just going to be quick:

Some memorable moments so far:

- Going to Record Land w/ Neighbour.  Never seen a record store like it :o

- Playing in the beautiful Julliard's room in the EPCOR centre for performing arts in Calgary

- Losing our gig money in Calgary :o - fortunately we got it back (thanks miche!)

- Crazy girl in Edmonton who threw a tantrum 5 minutes into our set because we weren't playing electro - included screaming obscenities at us, pounding on the dj booth with her fist, and storming out.  Funny thing is, if she waiting a little longer, we actually ended up playing some electro :o

- Impromptu jam session with DJ Propa in his living room (see pictures below).  mmm... outboard gear...

- Getting lost not once, not twice, but three times in our first day driving in the Toronto area.

- Being stuck on both the single worst, and the 2nd worst DJ booth setup ever in Kitchener and Montreal respectively.

It feels like it's been forever since we've had internet access (and time). Needless to say, we'll have more time to update in the coming days as our gig schedule is finally slowing down...

Just noting that both London and Toronto were great successes! Thanks to Skank Honto and Farbs for making these shows happen. Pictures and stories to come!

We're back after a bit of a no internet hiatus...

Since our last post, we've been through Edmonton, played in Kitchener and are currently in the Cheval in Toronto setting up for our 2nd of 3 private corporate gigs...

Day 2

We had a blast in Calgary. Juilliard is a beautiful new venue that seems to be building quite a buzz amongst the townsfolk. We met a lot of really nice people who made us feel very welcome, so with any luck we'll be back in Cowtown before too long! Next stop Edmonton... only a couple hours left to shake off the hangover & catch a bus. Soo's got some pics from yesterday that we'll post up soon.

First Post!



We're about to leave on tour for 2 weeks, and as our website is still under construction, we'll be blogging our adventures here for your enjoyment. While we may not make as entertaining of travel buddies as, say, Steve Martin & John Candy... I'm sure you'll all have a few good laughs at our expense before we return home. We're kicking things off tomorrow (May 9th) in Calgary at Julliard Lounge (237 8th Avenue SE), then it's on to Edmonton for a spot at Level Two Lounge's (11607 Jasper ave) Saturday weekly 'Funk In The Trunk'. After that we have a whole bunch more shows in the Ontario / Quebec area, stay tuned for more info on that.
